Narina Lodge: The Sabi Sand (Lion Sand)
Narina Lodge has an air of relaxation, enhanced by natural décor and an open design extending out to generously furnished decks from where you can enjoy panoramic views of the Sabie River.
Here you can watch the animals feeding on the riverbank and engage in the social chatter this inevitably stirs, or meditate on the rustle of the leaves. Leading off from the main lodge, raised wooden walkways connect to a spa sala and nine individual Suites. Narina Lodge offers exclusive accommodation, with private plunge pools and viewing decks overlooking the river.
Breathe deep and take it all in.
RIVER-FACING LUXURY
Suite
This lodge is built to afford complete privacy in a wilderness where you can watch the animals come down to the river from your pool, deck, bed and bath. Our Narina Suites perch on stilts among 100-year-old trees just up from the water, and link to a spa sala and intimate lodge via elevated walkways. Glass sliding doors and windows open your sanctuary to the outside, while a canopy bed, sink-into-me couches, an egg bath you can wallow in up to your chin, and personal bar all add to the delight of being on safari – in style. Adding to your sense of escape, spa treatments are offered in the open-air bush sala. For therapy of a different kind, browse the MORE Gallery and its boutique.

Bush dinner
Something a little different for your party of two or more… A dinner set up, just for you, in a clearing in the bush – lit by lanterns, candles and the stars. It’s romance and socializing in equal measure, toasting with new friends, and feasting on a bush barbeque.
Safari game drive
Head out at dawn/dusk to find the Big Five (Lion Sands is especially renowned for leopard viewing) and many smaller, but not less fascinating creatures. With your senses attuned to the sounds, scents and movements of the bush, this experience captures the very essence of safari.
Boma dinner
A highlight of any safari is dining in an African boma under the stars. Add to that exceptional food, fine wine and good company, and you have the formula for a special evening indeed.
